Does your organisation value diversity?

Nominations are now open for the 18th annual EEO Trust Diversity Awards – find out more about sharing your success stories here.

With a population consisting of over 213 different ethnicities and net migration figures being at their highest in over a decade, diversity is intrinsic to New Zealand’s culture.

Is your organisation embracing this diversity in the workplace?

Entries are now open for the 18th annual Equal Employment Opportunities (EEO) Trust Diversity Awards NZ. With a celebratory gala dinner being held in Auckland on 26 August, this is a great opportunity for you to showcase how you value your greatest asset: your employees.

The EEO Trust welcomes entries from all organisations, from any sector across New Zealand. Previous entrants to the Diversity Awards have found a number of positive benefits in taking part including an increased profile, a chance to benchmark their business against others and being recognised as an Employer of Choice.

“We invite businesses of all shapes and sizes from across New Zealand to enter the Awards, whether they have 200 staff or just two – diversity is for everyone!” said Bev Cassidy-Mackenzie, chief executive of the EEO Trust.

“This year we want to make it easier than ever to get involved and for the first time in the awards history, we have created a dedicated portal where entrants can submit an entry and potential entrants can be inspired by previous winners.”

Nominations close at 5pm on Friday 22nd May.
